Village Tour: Ox Cart Riding Tour in Prambanan Countryside

A trip to Yogyakarta and is bored with ordinary vehicles, this is an unique way to explore mesmerizing around temples. You can hop on a traditional ox-carts that are used to carry tourists around the temples.

Due to the impact of modernization, ox-carts have now rarely to be used in farms. To make it more useful, the carts are turned into tourist vehicles. Tourists will be taken to farm field, and around  villages and temples.

We will star our journey through the rice fields and village road to the hidden gem temple Plaosan, then visit local houses where we will learn traditional ways of making the Indonesian iconic foods: emping chips, tofu and also learning how to make and play bamboo instruments. 

Then continue to see honey farm (stingless bee keeping) here visitor can taste the pure honey straight from honey comb.
This marks the end of our trip, where we begin another scenic ox cart back to our starting point.
